Climbing is without question an inherently dangerous activity and there is no compromise when it comes to safety and learning the skills necessary to climb the right way. Sanirang Alpine Networks offers the most versatile and innovative rock climbing programs and clinics in Korea monthly group outings, ice and rock climbing schools, youth and teambuilder clinics and special customized group outings for levels of all kinds.

All programs and clinics are designed to maximize your time outdoors, learn new skills, get in shape and have a fantastic time out on the rock or ice.

This Month’s Group Ice Outings – 85,000KRW

Indoor Ice Session: Sunday, February 19, 2012 – Outlaying GyeongGi Province Area
This is the first of a series of three monthly open group outings hosted by SAN this season. The facility has routes that go as high as 22meters and will be a basic introduction to ice climbing gear, safety protocol, and basic ice climbing techniques. Future dates for the outdoor ice climbing will be January 15 and February 19, 2012. Rock Climbing School Program – 385,000KRW

April 22 ~ May 20, 2012, 7:30 a.m. ~ 4:30 p.m.
A series of lessons that introduce the proper and fundatmental skills required to climb and safely rappel down a multi-pitch climb. Final outing tops out on one of one Bukhansan National Park’s finest granite peaks.
*Equipment rents for 5,000KRW per gear piece or 25,000KRW for everything per each day out.

Ice Climbing School Program – 385,000KRW(10% VAT included in cost)

January 14 ~ 23, 2012, 7:30 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m. & January 29 to February 12, 2012, 7:30 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.
An introductory weekly ice climbing program which teaches the basic techniques from the French Techniques to vertical N and X Body forms and finishing with a stunning multi-pitch ice climb.
*Equipment rents for 5,000KRW per gear piece or 25,000KRW for everything per each day out.

Youth Clinics – 75,000KRW

This clinic will take your children to new heights with a healthy, safe and adventurous introduction to the fundamentals of climbing safety, protocol and technical basics and skills. Children will not only learn something new, but also a lot about themselves and the scenic Korean outdoors.
*Lunch and drinks are provided. Gear is rent-free with 6 or more children. Plus free SAN t-shirts for everyone!

ESL Climbing Clinics – 55,000KRW

This four hour clinic offers an innovated climbing curriculum for learners of English as second language for both adults and children respectively that focuses the language aspects of climbing through exciting Total Physical Response and interactive communicative activities. This English learning course is anything but boring.
*Equipment is rent-free. Plus free SAN t-shirts for everyone! Lunch is not included.
