Sanirang Alpine Networks offers rock climbing outings during the regular spring and autumn seasons for complete beginners and intermediates alike down near the Suwon, GyeongGi Province areas! The group outings are a lot of fun and all are welcome to join. These outings are also a great way to meet new people from all corners of the world. Not only will your senses be exposed to the excitement and thrill of climbing, but first-timers will also gain basic instruction on climbing techniques, crag safety, etiquette and proper top-rope belaying raising and lowering skills from our experienced and qualified instructors.
Don’t miss out on our group rock climbing outings down near Suwon and learn the basics of rock climbing by qualified and experienced instructors– there is no compromise when it comes to climbing and your safety. All who partake will learn how to give a proper basic top-rope belay along with basic instruction in single pitch sport climbing techniques, fitting gear, general safety and protocol signals. All gear is provided free of charge by SAN for this group outing.
After we have fitted and sized everyone up with gear, we will take you out to one of the local crags no more than fifteen minutes away. The climbing itself will be single pitch sport climbing in style with some nice trad-like crack climbing, too.
Lunch and refreshments are not provided, so please plan ahead and bring your own. Also, because we are nearing winter, please dress warmly and in layers. Deposits for the trip have to be made no later than Thursday evening before the scheduled date along with our on-line registration form for advanced insurance policy processing purposes. SAN is one of the only climbing services in the world to provide insurance coverage free of charge.

The group outing costs vary this season and are listed above. All costs include the Korean 10% VAT. The deadline for payment and registration is on Thursday‚ before each outing. Confirmation
Once SAN has confirmed your payment‚ a tentative itinerary will be sent to you along with a request to fill out our registration form. This form is also for your benefit in the very unlikely event of a mishap or injury‚ SAN asks clients for the following specific information in order to process a temporary insurance policy. SAN is not only one of the few climbing outfitters in the world that insures clients‚ but also includes coverage as part of the original payment. SAN Climbing Gear
Sanirang Alpine Networks understands how difficult buying gear in Korea can be. We also understand how expensive the necessary basic gear can be in order to learn how to climb, so because of this, SAN rents all of the necessary gear required to join the Climbing School from head to toe at the cheap and reasonable rates. Necessary gear includes: helmet, ice climbing boots, harness, and belaying device set, crampons and axes for only 25,000KRW for everything per outing OR 5,000KRW per each piece of gear for those with some gear of their own already.

Rain or Shine Policy
The Climbing School will never cancel despite deteriorating weather conditions. In the event of less than promising weather and SAN deems it to unsafe to climb, sessions will be done at an indoor climbing or bouldering gym where additional bouldering and sport climbing techniques and skills will be taught.
Refund Policy
An initial non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve a spot. Cancellations must be made one week prior to the start date of the intended and scheduled climbing school program in order to receive a complete cash refund; otherwise, the deposit is completely forfeited to SAN. In the event that a full-payment of deposit has been made and the participant cancels within the week of the first scheduled climbing school session, 50% of their full payment deposit will be forfeited and the remaining 50% will be refunded in cash. Pro-rated rates and refunds are not rewarded for the climbing school program in the event that the participant knowingly or unknowingly misses any one of the scheduled outings
